Patrimoine et Environnement les Projets pour 2008
Une trentaine de personnes ont assisté à l'assemblée de "Association Ensemble pour l'Environnement et le Patrimoine" qui a présenté son bilan.
La chapelle des rues : Gervais Barré, membre de la société d'architecture et d'histoire de la Mayenne (SAHM) a été sollicité pour donner un avis sur sa rénovation. A la suite de cette visite l'association a défini les travaux qu'elle peut réaliser et proposé ses services à la commune.
Les chemins: celui du Perron à Beauvais a été rouvert fin 2006. Pour le faire découvrir, l'association a organisé une fête le 21 juin pour celébrer la Saint Jean. Ce fut l'occasion de faire une belle promenade qui a ouvert l'appétit pour le repas champêtre du soir avant le grand feu de la St Jean. Il y a eu environ 40 marcheurs et 125 repas ont été servis, ce qui est encourageant pour une première.
En septembre 2007, débroussaillage pour la réouverture du chemin de la Thébauderie, ce qui donna l'occasion de redécouvrir un bel élément du patrimoine du village. Il faut maintenant voir comment, avec le concours de la municipalité assurer sa conservation à moyen et long terme.
Le site internet de l'association (hltp://www.saint-thomas-de-courceriers.eu), offert à l'association et tenu à jour par un couple de nouveaux habitants britanniques. Ce site présente St Thomas de façon tout à fait agréable et intéressante : photos, calendrier des manifestations à St-Thomas, présentation des artisans, lien météo... il peut être alimenté avec les informations que souhaitent y mettre adhérents de l'association et habitants de la commune en utilisant le lien apparaissant sur la page d'accueil.
En 2008 il est prévu de participer aux travaux de rénovation de la Chapelle, et d'entretenir les chemins rouverts. De réorganiser une fête comme celle de l'an dernier avec promenade à thème et dîner champêtre le samedi 21 juin 2008. A noter aussi le 19 avril, une soirée musicale pour violoncelle offerte par l'une des membres de l'association, peut-être dans l'église de Saint-Thomas.
Les discussions autour de cet ordre du jour ont été calmes, avec peut-être un peu plus d'animation lorsqu'il a été question de la réouverture du chemin de la Thébauderie. La soirée s'est terminée autour d'un pot de l'amitié agrémenté des pâtisseries préparees par le trésorier.
Heritage and Environment Projects for 2008 

Some thirty people attended the meeting of the "Association for the Environment and Heritage" which presented its balance sheet.

La chapelle des rues : Gervais Barre, a member of the society of architecture and history of Mayenne (SAHM) was asked to give an opinion on its renovation. Following the visit the association has defined the work it can perform and offered its services to the municipality.

The footpaths: the one from Le Perron to Beauvais was reopened in late 2006. For the opening, the association organised a fête on June 21 to celebrate midsummer. It was an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful walk, which whetted the appetite for a country meal in the evening before the big bonfire of St John. There were approximately 40 walkers and 125 meals were served, which is encouraging for a first time.
In September 2007, clearing the way for reopening of the Thébauderie, which gave an opportunity to rediscover a fine heritage of the village. We must now see how, with the assistance of the municipality, to ensure its conservation in the medium and long term.

The Association's website  (hltp://www.saint-thomas-courceriers.eu), was given to the association and is maintained by a couple of new British citizens. This site introduces St Thomas in a wholly nice and interesting manner : photos, a calendar of events in St. Thomas, introduction of artisans, a weather link... it can be fed with information that members of the association and residents of the commune would like to see on it, using the link that appears on the homepage.
 
In 2008 it is planned to participate in the renovation of the Chapel and maintain the reopened footpaths. Also to organize a party like that of last year with a walk, a rustic theme and dinner on Saturday, June 21, 2008. Also to be noted, on April 19, is a musical evening for cello offered by one of the members of the association, perhaps in the church of Saint Thomas.

The discussions around the agenda were well-composed, perhaps a little more animated during the discussions about the reopening of the footpath at Thébauderie. The evening ended with friendly drinks and fancy pastries made by the treasurer.
